Our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Team
You will find our staff friendly, personable and willing to assist you in every way possible to ensure our goal of providing you with the very best care. Our staff is multi-lingual (Spanish, Italian) and if language assistance would facilitate your visit, please feel free to request this service when scheduling your appointment. The surgical staff is extremely well trained to assist us in providing you with optimal surgical care. We require and encourage appropriate certification and continuing education. Our entire staff is certified by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support, and schooled in HIPPA privacy regulations (Health Information Portability and Privacy Act) by appropriate licensing organizations. Frequent attendance at risk management seminars increases our overall efficiency and enables our staff to avoid the common pitfalls of everyday oral surgery practice.
Our friendly and caring surgical staff maintains state certification in Dental Radiology as well as national certification by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons through the AAOMS Anesthesia Assistants Program. In addition, through a voluntary commitment, our staff coordinates a health care safety program that follows the strict guidelines from the National Centers for Disease Control and meets all OSHA regulations as well as conforming to established state and local codes.
The business staff is well trained in medical and dental insurance processing. You should notice a distinct difference between our business personnel and our surgical assistants as every staff member has specified duties. Many times your visit to our office will require the coordination of multiple insurance plans involving both medical and dental coverage. Our personnel will assist you in the coordination of these benefits making your visit as efficient as possible and maximizing your insurance allowance.
Maintaining three individual surgical facilities is a difficult task and requires dedication, cooperation and communication. Mandatory, bi-weekly staff meetings are scheduled to discuss patient care, insurance issues, and quality assurance. These meetings allow us the opportunity to implement new policies that impact the care you receive and provide consistency within a multi-office group practice. We assure you that our staff and doctors are dedicated to serving you.
